Lincoln has a spectacular fireworks display every year, drawing crowds from many surrounding towns. But for some, fireworks are a little too much — take Evie for example. At three years old there’s nothing better than riding your decorated bike with a hundred other kids up and down Lincoln Road in the Kids parade!
If you’re too old for the kids parade but still want to participate, you can run in the 2.5 or 4 mile road race. Jessica did that and came in fifth out five for her age group. See, it’s a very friendly town!
For the spectators among us, the rock walls along Lincoln Road are the best seats for taking in the parade, with floats from the school organizations, civic groups, and all you would expect to have see in a July Fourth parade from 1950.
