It’s easy to be so busy and focused we miss the spectacular beauty of this rural setting. Jeannine photographed some of our favorite spots across town. We’ll be using one of Sandy Pond for our upcoming mailer (keep an eye on your mail, Lincoln residents!). We wanted to share this glimpses of why we love Lincoln! Sometimes people ask why Lincoln isn’t more popular with buyers, and we continue to believe it’s because it’s a hidden gem. You don’t know unless you know! In these pics, you’ll see Codman Community Farm, Mass Audubon’s Drumlin Farm, Sandy Pond (a.k.a Flint’s Pond), the Gropius House conservation land, and DeCordova sculpture park and museum. All of these wonderful resources are free to Lincoln residents (except the few-dollar contribution for visiting Codman’s animals). We are so lucky to step out for a trail run, or pick up farm produce on the way home, or romp the kids through the stunning modern sculptures outside DeCordova. Jess’s husband Jason, walks to the train for his easy 50-minute door-to-door commute to Cambridge. For more info about Lincoln, we’ve got lots here.
